Because not every team works the same way. One business may prefer day/month/year dates, another may use month/day/year. Some teams work in 24-hour time, others prefer AM/PM. The same goes for currencies, decimal separators, weight units and temperature units.

The idea is simple: let Gespet show information the way you actually want to see it.

A small-looking change with a huge impact on everyday work

When you work with appointments, bookings, invoices, receipts, reports, weights, temperatures or customer documents, formatting matters.

A date that can be misunderstood, a time format that feels unfamiliar, or a money amount shown with the “wrong” separators can create doubts, back-and-forth messages, corrections and lost time.

What you can now configure

From your language and currency settings, you can now adjust several regional details so Gespet fits your business more naturally:

• Date format: for example 06/02/2026, 2026-06-02 or 02/06/2026.

• Time format: 24-hour time or 12-hour AM/PM display.

• First day of the week: Monday, Sunday or another option depending on your country or business habits.

• Currency: symbol, symbol position, spacing, decimals and thousands and decimal separators.

• Weight units: kilos, pounds and smaller units such as grams or ounces when needed.

• Temperature: Celsius or Fahrenheit.

• Distance: ready to work with kilometres or miles wherever distance data is used.

All of this helps every screen feel more familiar both to your team and to your customers.
