Keep in mind that each module is specific to one business area and, in each one, you have a service configuration option. Products and services must be configured or added in the corresponding module:
Hotel services in the Hotel module > settings > services
Daycare services in the Daycare module > settings > services
Veterinary services in the Veterinary module > settings > services
Training services in the Training module > settings > services
Products in the Shop module (or product sales module) > new > product
It is not possible to sell products or services that belong to another business area (for example, a hotel stay from the Veterinary Clinic module).
Each module is specific to one business area and lets you manage that area. For that reason, you can add complementary services to the service you offer, for example in a veterinary clinic or pet hotel, but you cannot sell those add-ons independently, without associating them with a service.
For example, it is possible to:
Configure an emergency-hours surcharge
Configure a pickup or delivery supplement
It is not possible to add products, even if you sell them together with services. For example, it is not possible to:
Configure products even if you sell them together with a veterinary clinic service, such as medication, clinical food or veterinary accessories
Configure products even if you sell them together with a hotel service, such as food or vaccines
Configure products even if you sell them together with a daycare service, such as accessories, kennels or toys
Configure products even if you sell them together with a training service, such as collars or books
This is because the service options have not been designed with the same features or specifications as the product options.
Services are selected using specific single-line search fields. This limits the available space and does not allow a photo or additional information to be shown. Services do not include stock control or batch management options, and they provide different management functions.
Products, on the other hand, are selected from a POS designed specifically for full product display. This makes it easier to locate the product, check all its information and select it. Products can also be selected with a barcode scanner and include stock control, batch management and other options.
Each module has a maximum number of configurable services. It does not make sense to manage 500 types of veterinary clinic services, because that would make it extremely difficult to record a consultation or filter results in a search field.
Knowing the profitability of each product and service is very important for your business, because it helps you make better decisions about how your business evolves.
If you configure your veterinary services efficiently, you will have better information about the profitability of each service, add-on and complement.

With a smaller number of services, it is easier to select the correct service or price in each case.
If, when adding a new service, you see a message indicating that you have exceeded the limit, you can:
Delete services that you have configured and are not using
Or reuse one of the services you are not using.
For example, if you created the service "Special stay" and are not using it, you can edit it and change it to the new service "Weekend stay" that you are going to use.
Also, check that you have not configured services that belong to other apps, as mentioned above. Services must be configured in their corresponding app: hotel services in the Hotel module, veterinary clinic services in the Veterinary module, products in the Shop module, and so on.
Delete those services and configure them in the corresponding app. This lets you manage your business in a simpler and more organized way.
Keep in mind that services you are already using cannot be deleted. In other words, if you have a "Weekend offer" service and you are currently using it, because entries, exits, sales or invoices have already been created with that concept, it cannot be deleted because it is associated with those bookings, entries or sales.
If you try to delete it, you will see a message like this:
But remember that you can modify services. For example, if the weekend service now has a different price, you can change it, or if you want to rename it, you can do that too. Click the Save button and the service will be updated.
From the Shop module (or product sales module)
It is possible to configure and sell products and it is also possible to sell or charge Daycare, Hotel, Veterinary Clinic or Training services if you have the corresponding app. For example, on the same ticket, in addition to products, you can charge for the veterinary service from the veterinary management app.
